What Your Root Chakra Is Begging You to Hear

You don’t need a shaman to tell you your root chakra’s a mess. You already know. It’s the panic before rent’s due. The skipped meals. The way you keep asking everyone if you’re okay instead of just knowing.

But your root isn’t silent. It’s just ignored.

The Language of Survival

The root chakra doesn’t speak in metaphors. It grunts. It twitches. It slams the brakes when you’re about to say something that might change your life. It only wants one thing: to feel safe.

Which is why it panics when:

  • You cancel therapy to save money.

  • You ghost your landlord’s emails.

  • You sleep beside someone who doesn't notice when you cry.

You can’t talk it down. But you can listen.

Grounding Isn’t a Buzzword. It’s a Deadline.

Your root isn’t interested in vision boards. It wants:

  • Food. Real food. With fat.

  • Movement. Not for fitness—for gravity.

  • Stability. Not perfection. Just predictability.

And maybe, just maybe, a heavy piece of hematite in your pocket reminding you that you’re allowed to take up space.

If It Could Speak Clearly…

It would say: “Stop calling instability romantic.” It would say: “Choose the friend who shows up, not the one who ‘gets you.’” It would say: “You’re not floating. You’re dissociating.”

It would say: “You are safest when you admit you need to be.”

Earth Note

One of our readers buried a chunk of obsidian in her garden. Claims she doesn’t know if it helped the plants, but it made her cry when she stood barefoot over it during a thunderstorm. That might’ve been the point.
